If Elijah appears this year at Passover for the seder meal in advance of the coming of the Lord, then it might be possible to look and see when his ministry would end.

 

Knowing that the ministry of Elijah (as one of the two witnesses) is three and half years long, then it seems possible that his ministry would end either during the Fall of 2016.

We do know that his ministry is 1,260 days.  If I have added correctly, then that would make Rosh Hashanah 2016 the end of his ministry.

 

This is all speculative at this time of course.

 

We are anxiously waiting to see how it all plays out.
