"Re: Dangers of UFO studies - to all"

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

If I may- allow me to quote from scripture but from memory as I don't have my bible with me right now.

As I read Roberts post to Arlene I was nodding in agreement then the Holy Spirit brought to my mind what we are to fix our minds on. All things that are pure, noble, praiseworthy and beautiful. This is why I agree with Robert. Furthermore - why negate the mind with this when we could be meditating on Gods word? I appreciate some like to "dig"- but for what purpose? Our days should be lived emulating Jesus and battling in spiritual warfare for the souls of the lost. The hours of research into ufos, aliens, and those things, are, I believe not going about the Fathers business.

I've seen wonderful Christians get so caught up in these things that they end up neglecting their walk with Jesus and it almost becomes a morbid fascination that is unhealthy for the mind.

Also babes in Christ read this site and I believe it unwise to dwell too much on demonic but rather dwell on love- the love Abba Father has for us and His gift of free salvation - and our blessed hope.

It's with love I write this- prompted by the Spirit. If you delve too far into anything occult you open yourself to these avenues which is why I believe Paul exhorted us to fix our minds on the pure and the lovely.

God bless all the doves and John who gives so much time running this site.

Let's try to win more souls in the short time remaining- putting on the full armour of God and carrying that shield of Faith.

Lovingly ysiC Susan in Aussie land
