I've been lurking on this site since the late 90's and I've seen rapture dates come and go a hundred fold since then.  I've watched as people on this site post their 'absolute truth' opinions as to when it will happen or who will be going. I've watched as people inquire of others on here as to what is 'truth' and what isn't when it comes to dates and times.
 I think I've seen just about every argument there is on this site when it comes to pre, mid or post tribulation rapture.  I've sat back and watched while the 'illuminated' ones speak their minds and teach others on here what they 'know' to be truth on this subject.
 As I sit here and read these posts day after day, it reminds me of the disciples of Jesus, arguing about who will be the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.  It saddens me and I know it must sadden His Holy Spirit as we know from His Word, God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. No one seems to remember that we are dealing with the Creator of EVERYTHING and we are simply 'sheep' who merely guess at our information compared to His perfect Truth.
 
I want to propose a question to all of you to get you to STOP and think for a second for yourselves.  Pretend with me for a few minutes and think...
 
What if the internet was never created by man, and any form of communication was never invented such as radio, television, etc.  All books, including Scripture, have never been written.  STOP and ponder about where you would be spiritually in that moment.  You have never heard of God, Jesus, the rapture, etc.  All you have is your life and those around you that you love and the earth that you live on.  PONDER on that reality for a minute.......
 
Where would you be spiritually in that time?  Would you KNOW that you are a child of God even though you had never read anything about Him?  Would you KNOW that you were not 'Home' and that you LONG to go back to where you were meant to be?  Would you KNOW that the Creator of the Universe was your TRUE Father and that you are His child?
 
Now...... ask yourself, 'Why' you want to be raptured?  What is the REAL reason you want to be 'rescued' out of here?
 
Is it because you want to be counted worthy to 'escape' all these things that are about to come to pass and stand before the Son of Man?
 
 Or is it because you 'know' in the depth of your being that Heaven is your Home and in your spirit, you LONG and GROAN to be where you were meant to be - at Home with your Father?
 
Examine yourself and where you are spiritually and WHY you want to be raptured?  And then ask yourself, what will be your stance if the rapture happens and you are left behind?  THINK about that for a minute?  Put yourself in that moment.  How would you feel?  What would you do? Would you still KNOW that you are His child and that you belong there?
 
Be honest in everything you are thinking and take these thoughts to God and lay them before Him and remember you are petitioning the Creator of the Universe, the Most Holy God whom no one can stand before His presence and live......
 
Now....tell us again, those of you who think you 'know' the absolute truth, are you SURE what you think you 'know' is what God actually revealed to you as His child or are you just picking and choosing what Scriptures you want to prove that you are 'right' and everyone else is 'wrong'?
 
Seek the Truth of God in your spirit and humble yourself before your Father In Heaven.  Die to everything you think you know and let HIM teach you through His Spirit that lives inside you.
 
And remember that in order to please Him, be humble and teachable and stop arguing and thinking that you alone know the Truth regarding anything.
 
We are the creation, not the Creator......we are merely dust and apart from His Spirit we are nothing.......
