"Bearing Fruit in the Last Days"

Saint Paul wrote his letters, or epistles, to those he knew needed exhortation, encouragement and edification in the early Church. Now, as we live on through the end times, we too need to be bearing spiritual fruit for the Lord, and of course to qualify for rewards, or crowns, at the time of the Judgment Seat of CHrist after the rapture occurs.

Each person will of course be given opportunities to do good works for sanctification (see my other messages on soul salvation for an explanation of spirit versus soul salvation, especially the book by Gary T. Whipple). Here are some possible ways to bear fruit:

1) give of your time and/or money to help others who are directly involved in missionary work across the world, or in the urban gospel missions,

2) give of time and money to humanitarian aid to those suffering from weather disasters, such as Red Cross and Salvation Army,

3) be active in your church as a deacon or elder to assist the clergy however you can,

4) use the power of the Internet and the web sites that exist to communicate whatever encouragement, prayers and information you can to help those who are in need, sometimes desperate need, for your heartfelt assistance,

5) pray daily for the deliverance of your friends and enemies from the oppression of demonic spirits that raom the world seeking whom they may destroy, ask that demons and other evil spirits be romoved from the bodies and homes of persons you are put in mind to help,

6) Deny yourself some small pleasures of worldly living to remind yourself of Jesus' instructions that we deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him each day.

I pray that the simple words of this message fall on ears and minds that are thirsty for nourishment from our dear and heavenly Lord and will prompt some change in their life towards a closer walk with Thee.

"Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green, and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit." Jer 17:7-8

With love,

Robert
