"Red Hair Red Alert"

John and Doves,

I sincerely apologise to Day if he was truly offended by my remarks about Julia Gillard's red hair but I always thought it was dyed that colour.
You know - deliberately changed to that colour!

Clearly I am not villainising red-headed people in general. However, her hair is red and appears to be made to be so. And she is a very powerful
unmarried woman living with her boyfriend with policies to push and an agenda to implement and can take a little scrutiny I think.

Here is an article from Oct 2007 showing her hair colour to be nothing close to red. I don't know when the photo was taken. In some of the
news footage of her over the years she has had various degrees of red, some being almost vivid red!

It is also fairly well known that she was closely associated with the Socialist Forum people in her past. And clearly the colour red is associated with
Communism and Socialism.

On August 16, Gillard was categorical: “There will be no carbon tax under the government I lead.”

"Why those promises? Because the Liberals were campaigning against the tax, and Labor knew if it had to rule it out to save itself.
And so, in the August 21 election, more than 80 per cent of voters backed parties that had promised no carbon tax. The trouble is,
one of them was lying."

Soon after the Ministers in the new Labour Government were sworn in Gillard announced there would indeed be a carbon tax.

She lied. She gave an absolute undertaking that no such tax would be happening if her Party won government. She lied.

People need to be able to discern the false from the true.

And then from this same Gillard government we get a mining tax on top of all this. You know - sharing the wealth around a bit.

Yes, I suppose I ought to be more considerate of high officials in this country who say whatever they like and contradict themselves whenever it suits them.

Keep looking up,

Phil.
