After the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the nation of Israel was given another 40 years to repent and accept him as their Messiah. The Apostle Paul wrote in Romans that the Gentiles were graffed in to provoke them (the nation of Israel) to jealousy (Rom.11:11). It didn't work. In the mid to late 60's A.D. God declared Israel Lo-Ammi (not my people Hosea 1:9) and we all know what happened to Israel, Jerusalem, and the Temple at that time. There was no nation left to be graffed-into and no nation to provoke to jealousy.Also, Paul wrote the following:Gal.3[27] For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
[28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Col. 3[9] Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
[10] And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
[11] Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.Matthew was written about the ministry of Christ to the Jews under the Mosaic law and before the work of the cross. If you want to accept that as your guiding light - have at it. As for me, I've accepted the Grace expressed by Paul, especially in his'prison epistles'.You write: "Therefore Matthew 24 and all of Matthew was written for the end-time Jews of which the Church is NOW A PART OF." The Church which is His Body has nothing to do with 'end-time Jews' (see 'Two Distinct Churches' posting).I'm not a Jew and have no desire to be one.Phil 2
