THE TWO WITNESSES
HELLO DOVES!!!
When I was looking into the possibility of there being three raptures, and studying the 7 raptures in the Bible, one of the amazing new revelations I had was that Enoch was one of the TWO WITNESSES. I had never known, for sure, who these two witnesses are, until now. For me, it was a puzzle piece that fit in perfectly with my other conclusions.
I had read many studies that pointed to Moses and Elijah, but for some reason, Moses never fit, for me. Elijah did, but that was because the Lord told us he would come before the Day of the Lord. I will get into this later, but now I understand that Elijah will be coming after the Rapture of the Bride, and will be part of the Great Revival. The Day of the Lord is God’s Wrath, not the first 3 ½ years of the Tribulation.
In this post, I would like to provide some evidence from the Holy Scriptures that both these prophets will be the two witnesses.
First of all, neither one of these men saw death, they were both raptured, just as the Bride will be. Thus providing us with an example of the Bride, and showing us that we will be taken the same way at the Rapture of the Bride. Both of these men walked with God and were taken in this way so that the Lord would use them later to fulfill all His purposes, in the end of days. THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES TAKEN BY THE LORD WITHOUT SEEING DEATH!!
ENOCH
In Book of Jude, verse 14, the Lord tells us,” "And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, behold the LORD cometh with ten thousands of his saints."
There can be no doubt that Jude is speaking about the end-times, and the Second Coming of Christ. Certainly, Jesus did not come with thousands of His saints at His First coming!! This means Enoch will be preaching this to the tribulation saints during the first half of the tribulation, after the Rapture of the Bride. He is telling the world, that Christ will return with His Bride at His Second Coming. This prophecy would only be relevant to the tribulation saints.
ELIJAH
As stated above, Elijah comes before the Day of the Lord. We know that Elijah was taken to heaven and did not die. Therefore, he has to be one of the Two Witnesses, because we are told he will be coming back to earth in the last days.
Mal 4:5 “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:”
Mal 4:6 “And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”
THIS IS SPEAKING OF THE TRIBULATION, BEFORE THE WRATH OF GOD, AND AFTER THE RAPTURE OF THE BRIDE!!!
Day of the Lord is the day of God’s wrath, when He will smite the earth. We know that Elijah will be prophesying during the Tribulation, not before!!! This will be during the Great Revival and the latter rain!! (The first half of the 7 year Tribulation)
ENOCH AND ELIJAH
Genesis 5:24: "Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away."2 Kings 2:11: "...suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind."
Neither of these men died. They will both come back to earth as they were as humans, but with supernatural powers, and protection. Because they are still in their physical bodies, the Anti-Christ will be able to kill them, (for God’s purposes, of course) and then they will rise again and be raptured, right in front of the world!!! At this time I believe it will be MID-TRIBULATION, and the 144,000 will be raptured at the same time.
These are the only two saints that never died, and were ‘taken up’. Therefore they are the most likely candidates to return at a later time during the first half of the Tribulation to evangelize during the Great Revival of the TRUTH.
Because they have never died, and remain alive after the Rapture of the Bride, they will have to be killed as martyrs to be raptured into Heaven, just like the tribulation saints.Rev 11:7 :“And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.”
Rev 11:8: “And their dead bodies [shall lie] in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.”
Rev 11:9: “And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. It feels so good to finally understand who these two witnesses will be. I did not go searching for this answer until after the Holy Spirit revealed this truth to me, and that feels good, too. Because this puzzle piece fits so well, there are a few others that are also moving into place. The next revelation that I will be researching, and then attempt to prove, will be that the Great Revival happens after the rapture of the Bride and not before. I will let you know what I find out.The Lord’s Blessings and love to all of you!!
All Glory to our KING OF KINGS!!!!
