Hello Mike!
I am sorry to hear that you have been ill; I hope you are feeling better, now. I want to thank you for sharing that well researched study, which does present some compelling evidence to support that view. Especially now, as I have been posting studies about the other view, it is good to have both to look at, and let the reader decide which rings true in their hearts and minds.
I have read the many studies by Chuck Missler and they are also well researched and compelling. I just adore him!! But, he always tells us to find out for ourselves, and that is just what I did, by researching the subject with just the KJV of the Bible and a Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, and what I came up with turns out to be the least accepted view. Much of what I researched brought me to conclusions that had to be accepted one by one in order to support my later revelations, but it became evident that what I found made the most sense in every way, to me.
Each of my separate studies led into the next, and if they were not read in order the whole continuity may have been lost. What I found out about the Sons of God, was based on my previous studies, and if one had not read them, then the foundation was lost and the whole not as strong. Each study led into the next. Reading just one, it would seem out of context, if the others were not understood and accepted.
I believe there were 2 creations, 6th day and 8th day, and went into that in great detail in my study called Natural Man vs. Spiritual Man, and went on to research Flesh and Blood vs. Flesh and Bone, and then on through the temptation, and the Flood. By tracing the seed line of Canaan back through Ham, and then to Cain, (through Naamah, Ham’s mother), discovered that the mark of Cain was most likely that God made him a giant. That would set him apart and prevent anyone from wanting to attack him. He was driven out from among Adam and Eve and mated with natural man, 6th day creation, and thus his children became giants also. This also explains Cain’s wife. Anak was a Canaanite, and he was big, no doubt, but not 450 ft. tall or even 30 to 70 ft. tall.
If, as you say, human women mated with fallen angels, how did they give birth to 70ft tall giants?? Have any skeletons of these giants ever been found? I have heard that they have found skeletons 13 feet tall, and that makes more sense (Marilyn Agee shared that information with me in her last post. Thanks Marilyn!!) Also, if there were beings that were half lion and half man or woman, we would have surely found skeletal evidence of such things…to my knowledge not one such skeleton has ever been found…to support this claim.
I do believe there were giants, but they were not the result of fallen angels, although they may very well have been demon possessed. God is in total control and he would not have allowed such a thing. Satan had to ask God’s permission to torment Job…and he was the head honcho of the fallen angels, so certainly those other fallen angels would have had to have the Lord’s permission to mate with man. And I find it difficult to believe he would have given it.
When the Lord speaks of “strange flesh” I do not think he is talking about the physical mating of spirits with flesh, I think he is talking about unnatural mating between man and man, man and animal, and all the evil lustful ideas of fallen man, that may have included spirit possession. And this was done by the free will of man, not the fallen angels.
Cain’s offspring that were giants, mating with the daughters of true believers from the seed line of Seth, from which would come the Second Adam, the Son of God.I also do not believe that the Lord would use the same words for the true believers and the future Christians, as he would for fallen angels!!! If he is the same yesterday, today and forever, why would he do that, at least without tells us why.
As to what is said in Daniel about iron and clay, I feel it is talking about demon possession, humans actually wanting to be possessed by spirits, as we live in a time when so many people have “spirit guides” to help them become enlightened. Certainly these do not mix and will be taken out and fall apart. But, more important than all this, my study was to show the difference between the Truth and Religion, how they began at the very dawn of mankind and have been carried down ever since.
It all makes a great deal of sense to me and rings so true in my heart. I like how so much can be explained by holding this view. I learned all this just by studying the Bible, and I think that is all we need to find out what the Lord wanted us to find. I was not claiming to be right; I was just sharing my findings. Believe me, almost everyone is of the same mind you are, and with good reason I am sure. Yet, after finding out what I did, I can no longer come to that conclusion.
Thank you again for taking the time to send that study, I really enjoyed it, and read it twice. It may be the truth and the only truth; I guess we will, someday soon, find out!! Until then, let us celebrate our love for Christ and look forward to going home!!
