"Re: Phil's Post of 2/27 and Redheads")
Dear Day,
You must have red hair to be so offended by what Phil said about the redheaded communists…I think he was just joking that they are considered “REDS” and even had red hair.
I found what you said in response to be interesting, but rather defeating the purpose of showing people on fire for the Lord.
Looking at all the people you mentioned I could not find one that would be considered a born-again, mature Christian. In fact most were NWO and some were professing atheists!!!
This is the list you had:
Thomas Jefferson---George Washington---Winston Churchill---King Arthur---King Henry VIIII---Queen Elizabeth I---William Shakespeare---Mary, Queen of Scots---Mark Twain---Van Gogh---Erik the Red---Queen Victoria---Margaret Thatcher---Ronald Reagan---Andrew Jackson---etc.---etc.They may have been famous and accomplished a great deal on this earth…but whom of that group was a mature born again Christian??? Certainly none in this group was on FIRE FOR THE LORD!! If you think so, could you please prove it?P.S. I have auburn red hair, and I was not offended at all by Phil’s post. Maybe if the list you provided included any of the Apostles, great preachers, or the like, it would have made your point of value. The examples you chose were worldly people that may have been great patriots, writers, artists of statesmen, but certainly, if they were not born again believers their worldly fruit was of little value to the Lord.
I hope I have not offended you, but I just could not understand where you were coming when you used these people to prove your point. They may not have been “reds”, but they were also not a good example of Christians that have produced fruit for the Lord. They may have been famous “redheads”, but don’t think they were on fire for the Lord.
With all humility,Your sister in Christ,
Patti C.
