Jeremiah 31:35 & 36
Thus says the Lord, Who gives the sun for light by day, and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar; the Lord of hosts is His name: If this fixed order departs from before Me, declares the Lord, then the offspring of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before Me forever.
A prophecy of Israel's return, fulfilled in 1948 (after an absence of 2669 years of not being a free, independent nation!)-----Ezekiel 37:21 & 22
.......Thus says the Lord God, "Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and I will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king will be king for all of them; and they will no longer be two nations, and they will no longer be divided into two kingdoms."
During most of Old Testament history (with the exception of the days of David and Solomon) the Jewish people were two nations, Israel to the north and Judah to the south. Not so in 1948-----exactly as prophesied, just one nation returned!

I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your forefathers (i.e. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) as the earliest fruit on the FIG TREE (Israel) in its first season.
Matthew 24:32-34
Now learn the parable of the FIG TREE (Israel): when its branch has already become tender, and puts forth its leaves (1948), you know that summer (the 1000 year Kingdom Age when the Messiah of Israel will rule on the throne of David) is near; even so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door (the Rapture). Truly I say to you, THIS GENERATION WILL NOT PASS AWAY UNTIL ALL THESE THINGS TAKE PLACE (all end time events including the Second Coming).
"This generation" happens to be our time in history, and it began in 1948! We are now almost 64 years into that time period. Sadly, many people who call themselves "Christians" simply do not know what is in the Bible. Many churches do not teach what is in the Bible, substituting instead worthless denominational humanism from their pulpits. And the churches that do teach the Bible simply water down the scripture, and stay away from any "controversial" topics. To really know what is in the Bible, often a person has to read it on their own.
We are living in THE most amazing time period in all of human history! All Bible prophecies for our time (and there are very many!), WILL be fulfilled! The Bible spends a lot of time on OUR TIME PERIOD-----and many pastors go to great lengths to avoid talking about this! The Bible even prophesies that this would be so! War is now brewing in the Middle East, a very big war! Very likely this coming war will be the "sudden destruction" event that is linked to the Rapture throughout the Bible. After the Rapture the antichrist will arrive on the world scene, and will make a false peace with Israel. 7 years after this false peace will be the Second Coming of Christ, Israel's long rejected Messiah.
