Hello, John and Doves,Sister Susan, the phrase, "night and day," simply is a metaphor for the concept, "without cessation of activity." That is to say, "the joy of the LORD is your strength." [Nehemiah 8:10]Baruch HaShem Adonai Roi,Mike C.Susan B (6 March 2012)
"Please help with a contradiction in scripture."
Dear Doves
I can't come up with a satisfactory answer to this unless it's a mis-translation from the original Hebrew.
In Rev it says "and they serve Him day and night in His temple".
However, we are told there is no night in heaven or no darkness. Can someone shed light on this? (pun intended)! It's been niggling at me for some reason- probably because I take all scripture literally. Thanks all
Lovingly ysiC Susan
