Hello, John and Doves,
Whenever things go sour, it
is good to remember the LORD's promises to us.
The only way you can remember
in the bad times is to store up memories of scriptures
in good times.
It is written,
After the death of Moses the
servant of the LORD, it came to pass that the LORD
spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' assistant,
saying:...
"No man
shall [be able to] stand before you all the days
of your life; as I was with Moses, [so] I
will be with you. I will
not leave you nor forsake you....
"Only be strong and very
courageous, that you may observe to do according
to all the law which Moses My servant commanded
you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to
the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.
"This Book
of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but
you shall meditate in it day and night,
that you may observe to do according to all that
is written in it. For then
you will make your way prosperous, and then you
will have good success."
What's
good for the goose is good for the gander. As such, we start to remember
those things the LORD has said regarding the rulers of
this age [or of any age, for that matter].
"The
king's heart is in the hand of the LORD;
he directs it like a watercourse wherever he
pleases."
"Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal
life, to which you were also called and have
confessed the good confession in the presence of
many witnesses.
"I urge you
in the sight of God who gives life to all things,
and [before] Christ Jesus who witnessed the good
confession before Pontius Pilate,
"that you keep [this]
commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord
Jesus Christ's appearing,
"which He
will manifest in His own time, [He who is] the
blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and
Lord of lords,
"who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable
light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom [be]
honor and everlasting power. Amen."
Baruch
HaShem Yeshua Ha Mashiach,
Mike C.

"Obama to Putin:
I'll Surrender America After Re-election"

Jake Tapper of ABC News reports that an open
microphone caught President Barack Obama telling outgoing
Russian President Dmitri Medvedev that he would be
prepared to yield to Russian demands on missile defense
after his re-election, but needed more "space" until then.
The two leaders were meeting in Seoul, South
Korea, and Medvedev immediately promised to relay Obama's
message to incoming Russian President Vladimir Putin:
President Obama: This is my last election. After my
election I have more flexibility.
President Medvedev: I understand. I will transmit this
information to Vladimir.
President Obama has repeatedly backed down on missile
defense in the face of Russian demands, most famously
abandoning American promises of cooperation with Poland
and the Czech Republic in 2009.
