Hello, Doug. I hesitate to say, "Brother Doug," because you confuse Tammuz 17, a tradition of men,
with the clear instruction of scripture.
Have you not read,
"And [this] shall be a statute for ever unto you: [that] in the seventh month, on the tenth [day] of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, [whether it be] one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:
"For on that day shall [the priest] make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, [that] ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.
"It [shall be] a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever."

Clearly, Moshe is talking about Yom Kippur.
In fact, since Yeshua's feet are due on the Mount of Olives [Zech. 14:4]--which will then turn into the Hills of Bether [Songs 2:17], between which will lie the Valley of Decision [Joel 3:14]--on 10 Tishrei 5776 (September 23, 2015), Yom Kippur will at that time see mourning turn to rejoicing, as Israel's Promised Messiah, Jesus, returns to the Earth. End of story.

"Daniel's 70th Week"
John and Doves:
I mean no offense to any brother or sister in the Lord but I wish to make my position crystal-clear on one issue.
Daniel splits the 70 weeks into 62 weeks - 7 weeks - and 1 week.
THERE WILL BE NO OVERLAP OF THESE WEEKS. If we use the time-frame of June 7, 1967 to Sept 23, 2015 (I prefer 9-13/15-2015 - Feast of Trumpets) THESE ARE THE 7 WEEKS (49 years). This 7 weeks (49 years) CANNOT and WILL NOT overlap with the 70th week (7 years). It cannot be and is totally illogical. We are in the last 7 years before Jesus comes but we are not in the 70th week of Daniel. The 70th week is yet future and can be INSIDE the day of the Lord and can overlap with the Day of God's Wrath - perhaps the first 7 years of the 1000 years - Day of the Lord.
That 70th week (7 years) is to seal up the vision and prophecy and bring in everlasting righteousness. IF Daniel's 70th week ends Sept 2015 as some suppose, how is that possible? The 2 witness have just been KILLED and the LORD is furious. Will the world nations be living in righteousness at that time? No. They must be subdued during the Day of God's Wrath beginning FOT 2015. It takes time to teach righteousness and people learn at different rates. People learn righteousness when the judgments of God are in the earth.
It took Israel at least 7 years to subdue the land. Actually, God subdued the land little by little before them.
Exodus 23:29,30 I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee. 30) By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.
I suggest the same will happen beginning in 2015 when, I believe, Daniel's 70th week begins. God doesn't get in a hurry in spite of our microwave mentality - we want it "now". This reasoning, logical or otherwise, produces some Biblical dates which we have NOT considered.
Cutting through the chase -
If we add 7 prophetic years to Feast of Trumpets 2015, we get 10th Av 2022, August 7, 2022.
Now consider this:
Job 11:6 And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that [they are] double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee [less] than thine iniquity [deserveth].
This brings into question either 7 years or 14 years?
If we add 14 prophetic years to FOT 2015, we get 17-18 Tamuz (to be observed in 2022 on the 18th as the 17th falls on the Sabbath).
Or - for visualization:
10th Av - 2022 (end of Daniel's 70th week August 7, 2022)
or if doubled:
Fast of 4th Month - 17 Tamuz - 2029
10th Av - Both temples burned or were burning as well as the bad spy's report etc.
17 Tamuz is historically a calamitous day (events not shown to keep this short) in Jewish History but Zech 8:9 specifically states this day of MOURNING will be turned into a day of JOY.
Zech 8:19 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth [month] (17 Tamuz), and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.
At some point, something MUST happen on 17 Tamuz to justify this day of mourning being changed to a feast of Joy and Gladness.
To sum this up:
I think Daniel's 70th week ends on 10th Av August 7, 2022. IF doubled, as per Job (if applicable?) it may extend out to 17 Tamuz 2029. Either way, The 10th Av & 17 Tamuz are Jewish Biblical dates of great importance.
August 7, 2022 can be written as 8-7-22 or simply 8722. Only one verse in text carries this SUM Gematria.
Romans 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh
Though it would be highly debated by some - considering we are in the (Daniel's 7 weeks) 49 years between June 1967 and Sept 2015: there are still 3.5 years in these 49 years. This means, imho, we are in year 46 of these 49 years. If we add the 70th week of 7 years to these 3.5 years - we have 10.5 years until 10th Av 2022 - end of Daniel's 70th week. Ten days/years(?) trib?
God does not get in a hurry and IT DID TAKE YEARS (by choice) for him to subdue the land before Israel.
Please do not let these far-off dates discourage you. Even the year 2029 is only 17 years from now but this DO NOT and I say again -
THIS DO NOT lessen the importance of April 1-3 2012, ie. 9-11 Nisan 2012 - The 'greater' 9-11 - a mere two weeks from this posting date.
The ONLY purpose of this post is to show you the possible date for the end of Daniel's 70th week. This is not written in stone but is only my opinion.
