"If you preach the gospel, you hold in your bosom that which is wiser and stronger than men."

Hello, John and Doves,

The simple message of the love of God demonstrated by the gift of His Son as a substitutionary sacrifice on our behalf is being assaulted from all sides.

Therefore, it is important to realize that, if you preach the gospel, you hold in your bosom that which is wiser and stronger than men.

It is written,

    "For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.

    "For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom;

    "but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks [fn] foolishness,

    "but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

    "Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men."

1 Corinthians 1:21-25

If the fundamentals of the Christian Life are contested by the world, how can the world assume that it has a handle on the future of man?  Jesus-san, not Obi-wan is our only hope.  However, be sure to wear the obi of truth!
