I read your assertion on Enoch, and I must say I disagree. The Ethiopic Bible, one of the oldest known translations has the book of Enoch in their canon. Enoch is also directly quoted in Jude 1:14. Just like the book of Jasher is also quoted in scripture.
 
Joshua 10:13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.
2 Samuel 1:18 (Also he bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.)
 
The first four centuries of christianity, the Church fathers taught and believed the sons of god, bene' elohim, were fallen angels. Enoch was a book these early church fathers quoted often. It was in the fourth century that this teaching was rejected.
 
"Celsus and Julian the Apostate used the traditional "angel" belief to attack Christianity. Julius Africanus resorted to the Sethite interpretation as a more comfortable ground. Cyril of Alexandria also repudiated the orthodox "angel" position with the "line of Seth" interpretation. Augustine also embraced the Sethite theory and thus it prevailed into the Middle Ages. It is still widely taught today among many churches who find the literal "angel" view a bit disturbing. There are many outstanding Bible teachers who still defend this view. "

Since the teaching of angels was rejected after the 4th century, and the "Sethite" view replaced it. Books like Enoch was removed, since it refuted the Sethite view. However, the Sethite view fails to explain how believers marrying unbelievers produces the Gibbori, aka Nephilim. The mighty ones are known as Archons, Demigods, Champions, and Titans. Gibbori means Mighty One, Nephilim comes from the hebrew word "Nephal" which means fallen. Nephilim is fallen ones.
 
The Sethite view does not answer these important questions. Also, the Sons of God, mentioned in Genesis 6, are also mentioned in the book of Job. These are the Bene' Elohim.
 
Genesis 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
 
Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
 
These "Sons of God" shouted for joy when God laid the foundation of the earth. Man is created from the dust of the earth. So man did not exist when this event took place. These "Sons of God" are not men. They are angels, and these angels came down and perverted God's creation. God told Eve that through her the Messiah would come. Knowing this, the angels sought to pervert the seed of man. If all mankind was perverted into a hybrid abomination, no "Seed" could come. This was clearly an angelic war against God, in a vain attempt to prevent God from redeeming mankind.
 
Also, all throughout human history you have 'the gods' coming down and mating with women. Producing these "Demigods". These beings posed as mankinds progenitors, and birthed the pagan religions of this world.
 
The giants in scripture, if you do the math were colossal. Take for instance Amos 2:9
 
Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.
 
These Amorites were the size of Cedar Trees, your average Cedar is around 70ft tall. Also keep in mind this is God speaking in this verse, does God exaggerate, or distort facts?
 
Or King Og, in Deuteronomy 3:11 For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.
 
A cubit is 18 inches, a royal cubit is 21 inches. Do the math here, this man if you round off the numbers, is around 14 ft tall. Much taller than any modern day NBA player. How does a believer, marrying an unbeliever, produce a giant that stands 14 ft tall? Why isn't America loaded with these giants? There are all kinds of couples in America that have one believer, and one unbeliever.
 
These are important facts, that the Sethite view never answers.
