Dear Doves,

Let us imagine what John saw and then wrote down in the Book of Revelation regarding the “man of sin” who later becomes the Wicked One.

John is taken forward to the end time to WATCH a man on the Internet where his image is both moving and speaking, who is the leader of a country that has great commerce, and has at his command the greatest military of its time.

Then he sees something else, another IMAGE of the man, an image that is constantly being questioned by many, it is an image that is controversial because many are unsure whether the truth is being hidden or not, the image is something that people wonder about.

This IMAGE identifies the “man of sin” positively and uniquely from among the other six to seven billion inhabitants of the world.

The IMAGE John sees contains the man’s NAME, the MARK or SEAL of the beast, and the man’s numeric value that is determined as a result of counting from 1 to 666 (“Behold, this have I found, saith the preacher, counting one by one, to find out the account”).

It is the unique combination of the mark of the beast, the name of the man, and the numeric value found on the image that identifies the “man of sin”.

The $64,000 dollar question is from where does the count begin?

Please find a Holy Spirit inspired heuristic in the following link as containing a general approach for counting the number of the beast (man of sin, the son of perdition). I may have missed it, but I do not recall seeing anyone posting the solution to this riddle. I exhort all to try and may the Holy Spirit of Truth guide you into all truth.
