"to
Patti C"
Patti, I had skimmed a few of your studies with
great interest and hoped to go back and read them more
thoroughly. In fact, one of the submissions that John lost a few
days ago due to Inbox problems was a letter from me, asking you
to include multiple links in one letter so that we could find
them more easily.
That said, once I saw your responses to Doves who disagreed with
parts of your posts, I changed my mind about wanting to dig more
deeply into what you wrote. Because my time to study is very
limited, I choose to learn from teachers whose Godly character
is evident, and your replies to Donna Danna (who, by the way,
has submitted many worthwhile studies of her own over the years)
seem to come from a spirit that is anything but humble, gentle,
and teachable. I've read well-researched posts from many of our
fellow Doves who will either accept correction or explain their
views point by point in a loving and respectful way, and it
saddens and disappoints me that you aren't doing that.
You may indeed have much to teach us, but I've found that I
don't trust any "truth" you might impart, due to the way you
treat other believers. I will trust God that if there is
information contained in your posts that I need to know, He will
provide it to me through another avenue.
I will close by quoting the scripture that came to mind as I was
thinking about this post: "If I have the gift of prophecy and
can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge...but have not love,
I am nothing." 1 Corinthians 13:2`
