A new Replacement Theology--Man becoming like God
A new brand of replacement theology is taking hold of the
Christian Church--it is the replacement of YHVH (God) with man.
Notwithstanding that there is nothing new under the sun, this
"dominion" thinking has permeated church society with extra
biblical, self indulgence and self aggrandizing delusion. Any
combination of these characteristics is enough to lead
unsuspecting Christians down a path of deception. Many cults
have been exposed over the years where a specific man has
convinced others he is either god or the only prophet of god.
But what happens when man is convinced that he stands in the
place of YHVH and that YHVH is limited by man's actions?
The story is ancient. The Apostle Paul referred to it in 2
Corinthians 11:3 as he was warning the church about false
prophets and deceivers, saying "But I fear lest, as The Serpent
deceived Eve by his craftiness, that your minds may also in this
way be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Yeshua Ha
Mashiach (Jesus The Messiah)." Genesis 3 shows how satan as a
serpent deceived Eve into eating from the tree of the knowledge
of good and evil. Verses 4 and 5 say, "And the serpent said unto
the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For YHVH doth know that in
the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye
shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." The bait was to be
like YHVH.
Isaiah 14:11-14 portrays a similar theme as Lucifer's fall from
heaven is described. The direct Hebrew translation says, "You
thought to yourself...I will make myself like the Most High.'"
In Acts 8, Simon the sorcerer offered to pay to receive the Holy
Spirit "that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy
Ghost." Peter told him in verse 20, "Thy money perish with thee,
because thou has thought that the gift of YHVH may be purchased
with money." Point is: Man is not YHVH; man cannot "impart" what
is YHVH's. YHVH determines when and who receives His gifts, not
man. This is just one example of how Christianity has twisted
the truth of the Holy Scriptures by teaching that man imparts
the gifts of YHVH.
There is a "dualistic" principle being applied in much of the
church. That is, satan is a powerful adversary that must be
withstood otherwise god's kingdom cannot come. God can only act
by man. Therefore, it is man who must battle satan and establish
god's kingdom on earth, otherwise god cannot return. This
theology rejects the one true God (hence my use of "g"od), YHVH,
of the Bible. YHVH, the Creator of the universe, does not need
man to fight his battles and establish his kingdom. It is true
that YHVH often chooses to work through man. In the end,
however, it is Yeshua Ha Mashiach who redeems the earth and
establishes His kingdom--not man, nor the "church."
Revelation 19:14-15 says, "And the armies which were in heaven
followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and
clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he
should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of
iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath
of Almighty YHVH." There are no earthly humans here who
established any kingdom so that Yeshua could return. Leading
Christians to believe that they must establish the kingdom for
Yeshuah to return is unbiblical and deceptive. It plays into
satan's "be like the Most High" mantra and leads to the end time
one world religion. As Yeshua said in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed
that no man deceive you."
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!
