Gasoline price conspiracy and other signs of malaise
In 2008, the man who now occupies the Oval Office said that his
energy program would necessarily cause electric rates to
skyrocket. He said that higher prices for gasoline were needed
to reduce America's dependency on foreign oil. Now with gas
prices doubling since he took office, and the American economy
faltering under government expansion and a destabilizing foreign
policy that has caused oil prices to exponentially increase, the
Department of Energy is saying its strategy is not to lower pump
prices, but rather lower dependency. This Administration's
conspiracy to raise energy prices during a recession only
exacerbates the pressure on Americans to make ends meet.
On February 28, Secretary of Energy Stephen Chu told Congress
that current gasoline prices are not a chief policy concern. He
said, "The overall goal is to decrease our dependency on oil, to
build and strengthen our economy." He said, "What I'm doing
since I became Secretary of Energy has been quite clear. What I
have been doing is developing methods to take the pain out of
high gas prices." The president refused to support the Keystone
XL pipeline to open access to hundreds of thousands of barrels
of oil from Canada. He is also in violation of court orders on
offshore drilling as well as refusing to open access to the
nation's oil and gas reserves--costing jobs and increasing pain
at the pumps.
Meantime, millions upon millions of tax dollars have been spent
lining the pockets of failed energy cronies of the
president--can we spell Solyndra and Chevy Volt? Now he is
talking about spending tens of millions on energy production
from pond scum. A few weeks ago, I received a call from my
electric company asking if I wanted to receive "free" light
bulbs, a shower head and a multi-socket extension chord. I asked
how all this was paid for. The representative said that it was
required because of the new energy policy and that it was
already accounted for in my bill. In other words, we were forced
to at least pay for these mercury-laden poisonous fluorescent
light bulbs even if we don't want them.
The price of energy impacts everything from the food we eat to
the household items we need to live. The White House is trying
to force Americans to accept high energy prices, and there are
enemies of the public who are in concert with one another--Islam
controlling the world with energy, is just one. The American
Institute of Economic Research says inflation is really at least
eight percent. The Federal Reserve Chairman told Congress
America faces a "massive fiscal cliff of large spending cuts and
tax increases." The forecast ahead is not good. America's lack
of adherence to sound fiscal and moral practices has mounting
consequences. In Revelation 2:5, Yeshua (Jesus) told the church
of Ephesus, who had left its first love, to repent "or else I
will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out
of his place, except thou repent."
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!
