I dreamed this in October or November of 2011.  I haven't had any significant dreams since this one.

I dreamed that I heard a noise coming from the attic.  I climbed up a ladder and there was a door like a cabinet door on the wall near the ceiling.  I opened the door and looked in.  I saw what appeared to be a 10 pound bag of flour.  It was open and I looked into the bag.  There was some type of grain in the bag, not flour, and there was a mouse inside eating the grain.

Then I look over toward the left and I saw a very large rat.  It probably weighed between 5 and 10 pounds.  It's body was shaped like a dachshund dog, but it definitely had the head of a rat.  It's color was that of a rat.

Then I looked to the right and I saw an old woman sitting in a chair and another rat, like the dachshund dog-rat, was lying in her lap asleep, like a dog.

Next, I was no longer on the ladder, but standing on the floor.  One of those dog-rats walked up to me and looked up at me, like a dog will do, and it wanted me to pick it up and hold it.  I was repulsed by it and I could not pick it up.  Then I woke up.
