"Bruce Warner ""THE
DESIRE OF WOMEN" or "THE DESIRE FOR WOMEN"......""
Bruce, Jack Kelley from gracethrufaith.com gives a
good explanation for this verse.
Dan 11:37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers,
nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall
magnify himself above all.
This verse is about not regarding any gods, he is above all
gods, and so anything to do with women is out of place there.
Jewish women desired to be the mother of the messiah, and so,
"neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire
of women (the Messiah), nor regard any god: for he shall magnify
himself above all".
