If you truly know Jesus, then you know if He said, what some claim is a word from God.
 
Joh 10:4  And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
 
How often have you began to read someones word from God to know quite soon that it isn't.
And occasionally in another post, to read a line and know that it is from the Spirit.
 
Some praise what others claim to be from God just because they hope it is so.
It's can be praising false prophets.
