When I read this, my understanding
is that power was given to the four horsemen over
one fourth of the real estate of the earth.
And in that area these four horsemen were allowed
to kill by the sword (war--wars), with hunger
(famine), with death (pestilence), and by the
beasts of the earth. It
doesn't say that they will kill one fourth the
population of the earth but they will have
sway over one fourth of the real estate to do
their evil deeds.
And the bad guys at this
time do have sway over a fourth of the planet
and they are killing by wars...... and famine
and pestilence is rampant in a quarter of the
planet.
Lisa appears to believe as
I believe that the first five seals have already
been opened and we are just waiting for the
opening of the sixth seal which will bring on
the rapture and a huge world wide earthquake.
I hope I have made myself
clearer to you this time around as per my
wording. Obviously there is always concern at
the death of anyone and obviously as you have
pointed out there will be mass exponential
death once the seven year tribulation
period starts.
