Dear Doves,I followed a link at an article today by Calvin at RFTH and found a very helpful website . Here is the link to the section called advanced study with important studies about Nisan 8-17. Here is the link about Nisan 8 and 9. It is http://www.absolutebiblestudy.com/Advanced/The_Eighth_And_Ninth_Of_Nisan.htm. The information about Nisan 9 is extremely important concerning events of that day in the last days in Nisan of Messiah/ Christ's life. Before the day portion of Nisan 9, the Sanhedrin convened and Caiphus and company discussed "that one man should die for the people" so that the whole nation would not perish. This is recounted in John 11: 45 to 53. The higher ups at the Temple were actively seeking the Messiah, to seek his death. At the supper at the home of Lazarus, beginning Nisan 9, Mary annointed The Master for His death. Judas decried the waste of money. We see that Caiphus, the Temple authorities, and Judas have all turned against their Messiah by the evening beginning Nisan 9.The day portion of Nisan 9 was a Friday. It was the date of THE FIRST ENTRY INTO JERUSALEM BY THE MESSIAH, riding upon an animal. THE SECOND ENTRY was on Nisan 10. See John 12: 12 to 19, Luke 19: 29 to 44 and Mark 11: 1 to 11. Only one animal is mentioned for The Master's ride into Jerusalem on Nisan 9. It was an ass's colt. He rode this animal to signify judgment. This was a Friday, the 6th day before Passover, when the crowd cut down palm branches and placed them on the ground before His approach. This was the day they called out "Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord." This was the day of popular acclaim of the miracle worker from the Galilee. See Luke 19:41 about His weeping over Jerusalem. The Greek can also mean wailing aloud. In Like 19: 42 to 44 the word visitation is episkope in the Greek and means "inspection, overlooking" as in judgement. He entered Jerusalem on an animal symbolic of judgment, pronounced judgment on Jerusalem and the covenant people, went to the Temple, silently appraised it, judged it, and quietly returned to Bethany. IT WAS HIS DAY OF JUDGMENT. He caught the Temple authorities off guard, they could not arrest the rabbi. With the news of His presence, the crowds were larger the next day, like a huge buffer of protection when He returned the next day with the two animals and His Second Ride into Jerusalem. On Nisan 9 He arrived as Messiah and King. On Nisan 10 He arrived as The Passover Lamb. These 2 days had different events, purposes, themes, and prophecies to fulfill. Certainly Zechariah 9:9. NISAN 10 WAS HIS DAY OF BLESSING.On Nisan 10, a Shabbat, He cursed the fig tree. The ass and colt were used on Nisan 10. These 2 animals combined were about blessing, not cursing or judgment as the ass alone would be! Prophecy in Zechariah 9:9 was fulfilled over 2 days! He did not ride 2 animals at once on Nisan 10! Some responded to the rabbi on Nisan 9, but the next day Matthew 21: stated "all the city was moved." On this day of The Second Ride into Jerusalem, he overturned the tables of the merchants. Caiphus and company could not kill the rabbi from the Galilee, His time was not yet come, and the pilgrims were like a huge buffer of protection from harm, believers and curiosity seekers alike.Heed carefully the lessons of The Master on the last NISAN 9 of His life. This year Nisan 9 will be 3-31 to 4-1. The march on Jerusalem is scheduled for 3-30. PLEASE SERIOUSLY CONSIDER NISAN 9 THIS YEAR. A previous Nisan 9 was when judgment was pronounced on Jerusalem and the House of Israel by their MESSIAH and KING. Week 69 of the 70 Weeks of Daniel was complete on that Nisan 9-10. What may happen this Nisan 9-10? Will the prophetical time clock be ready to resume The 70th Week of Daniel? Is The Blessed Hope near? He has promised to come at a time not expected. The masses and the leadership of national Israel, Caiphus and company, did not expect Him before on Nisan 9. Come quickly, Lord...With Love and Shalom,Jean
