Dear John & Doves,   In light of the fact that Five Doves is expanding it's topics with recent post concerning the Occult and it's influence on the masses, let me share this  most interesting article.  Is it any wonder, the Lord God told His people not to make any symbols of anything in heaven above or earth below.  His Command says, "Thou shalt not make unto Thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or  that is in the water under the earth."  Exodus 20:4 KJV.   Perhaps, it is high time, we who call ourselves Christians, get acquainted with these symbols lest we, unknowlingly, break God's Law.  There is a penality for taking part in any of these things.  " Thou shalt not bow down Thyself down to them, nor serve them; for I, the Lord Thy God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate."  Exodus 20:5  KJV    I've heard people say, "But I don't think of it that way."  Well, it doesn't matter what we think; it is what the Word of God says.  He knows all about the pit-falls laid out for the unsuspecting.  We live in a generation now where these symbols fill our lives.  Ignorance is not bliss.   Please look at this, study the explainations and let's  stop endorsing the occult with our silence.  Learn and share with others.   gerlinda   http://www.radioliberty.com/Symbolsandtheirmeaning.html
