"The church in Philadelphia and Rev.3:10"

In my search of the meaning of the ten days tribulation found
in Rev.2:10, I have come to realize it probably means ten years
and not ten literal days.The church of Smyrna suffered ten years
persecution in the reign of Diocletian from A.D. 303-313.
Rev.3:10 discribes the Philadelphia church being kept from the
hour of temptation which shall come upon all the world.
The Laodicean church will be left behind. It could all happen soon.
