"Pat, intentions are
not fruit, from the like."

Interesting letter.
Jesus says, "you will know them by their fruit".
Now you say that we can't see their heart so we can't know if it
is real or not, so we are incapable of judging fruit.
Well, it is partly true, everyone can be fooled.
So why would Jesus say that we will know them by their fruit?
Some say they can spot a phoney a mile away, and it is usually
unbelievers who have this gift, weird huh.
If we love Jesus, what we "do" and our attitude will reflect it.
If we do not really love Jesus, I guess we are complelled to do
nothing and not really care about it.
Love is obedience, since he loves me I will do anything, and it
will be real and bear fruit because I am doing it out of love.
I will love those who hate me and help them and I will love and
help those whom the world neglects and hates.
Because he loves me even when I did the same, I will give it
away too.
That's fruit.
