I do not hold to this Seth stuff at all.

 

NO Man had the ability to be sons of God until after the Messiah came (Jesus) as we see in scripture Becoming sons of God is the result of salvation at which time you become a new creation this is not a metaphor it is an actual rebirth. John 1:12, Luke 20:36, Ephesians 1:5, 1 John 3:2-3, 2 Corinthians 5:17.

 

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

 

John-1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the Bene HaElohim (Sons of God), even to them that believe  on his name.

 

He gave them what? "power to become the Bene HaElohim (Sons of God) "  When? Upon receiving him not before but at that moment. Who did this Jesus (God).

 

When you were saved that was more than just being washed clean of sin by the blood of Jesus, at that moment God created a new spirit and gave you the "power to become the Bene HaElohim (Sons of God)". Before that no man had power to obtain it or any right to it.  We were sons of Adam we are now becoming Bene HaElohim.

 

Bene HaElohim (Sons of God) is a direct creation by God not a birth from men and women.

 

Fallen Angels like Satan were created Bene HaElohim he did not create them evil they choose and conspired to commit a sin.

 

Sons of Adam/man are just that sons of Adam,/man. Seth was not God he could not create nor have given birth to Bene HaElohim.

Daughters of men is a generic term meaning exactly what it says it in no way implies Daughters of Cain, Seth or anyone else it was all women any woman they chose. (Benoth Adam) is Daughters is Adam.

 

Nephilim- is the Hebrew word "the fallen ones" when translated to Greek it became, Gigantas- the Greek word and that's where the mistranslation takes place from Greek to English
Gigantes comes from Gigas which means "earth born".

Genesis 6

1-And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

2-That the Bene HaElohim saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

3-And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

4-There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

5-And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6-And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

 

The Seth Godliness stuff started little more than 5 decades after Jesus and was used to try to discredit the early Church later it was  taken as Doctrine by the Catholic Church.

 

Everything and everyone from the early church fathers, the Septuagint (LXX) and Hebrew scholars and sages from past to present day hold to the Fallen Angles. But ultimately the choice is yours.

 

As for Eve lying there is nothing at all that can prove that. By your reasoning then the sin didn't happen with the apple and didn't come through Adam it came first from Eve. Lying is either a sin or it isn't there is no Grey area.

 

Revelation 22:15 -For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

 

You do not even know if God told her or if he left it up to Adam to tell her and you say she is a liar "adder", it may have went something like this.

 

Adam: And the LORD God put us in this garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the LORD God commanded, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. DON'T EVEN TOUCH IT".
