Dear Doves,

 

According to 'Biblical' historians, God gives gifts to those whom He loves on Pentecost:

 

It was on Pentecost that God parted the Red Sea so Moses could bring the Isralites out of Egypt. Maybe that was a Jubilee Year - a year of freedom from slavery.

 

It was on Pentecost that God sent the Holy Spirit into the world to expand His Church. Maybe that was a Jubilee Year - a year of freedom from sins.

 

It was on Pentecost that God caused Israel to become a new nation in May 1948.

 

It was on Pentecost that God caused Jerusalem to be returned to Israel in June 1967.  That was a Jubilee Year - a year of returning to a possession.
