Dear Doves,According to Jim Bramlett's excellent post (15 March 2012) "Sir Isaac Newton and 2012" I quote:"However, Israel did not recapture and begin to rebuild Jerusalem until June 1967. So, if you take the historic date and add 49 years (seven sevens), you arrive at 2016. According to Newton's understanding, that may be the year of Christ's physical return to the earth -- after the tribulation. Further, if you back up for a 3 1/2 year great tribulation, you arrive at 2012, the year many prophecy students see as the year of the pre-tribulation Rapture and the beginning of the final 3 1/2 year Great Tribulation."I agree that when you add one 'Biblical generation' of 48 years 8 months to June 1967 you come to March 2016. According to the 'Parable of the Fig Tree', that may be the year of Christ's return to Rapture His Church which actually is 'pre-tribulation' in the sense that it happens immediately prior to the final 3 1/2 year Great Tribulation before His Second Coming. There is no seven-year great tribulation. Scripture says it is for a time, times and half a time = 3 1/2 years.June 1967 |-----------48 years 8 months----------| March 2016 |------------3 1/2 years-------------| Second ComingThe good news is that we are only 3 1/2 years apart. With all due respect, Newton thinks the Second Coming may be in 2016 and I think that the rapture may be in 2016.Come Lord Jesus!Bruce Warner
