The 'first-stage' of the 3 1/2 year great tribulation begins  in Israel 1,290 days before the Second Coming of the Lord. Thirty days later the 'second-stage' of the 3 1/2 year world-wide great tribulation begins 1,260 days before the Second Coming of the Lord.

 

STAGE #1:  (The great tribulation begins in Israel  1,290 days before the Second Coming of the Lord)

 

Daniel 12:11

"From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.

Luke 21:22 -23

"For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written........There will be great tribulation in the land (of Israel) and wrath against this people (of Israel)."

Luke 21:24

"...Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled." (this ends the 30-day stage #1 which has been confined to Israel only)

 

 

THE RAPTURE HAPPENS RIGHT HERE BETWEEN STAGE #1 AND STAGE #2  (Rev 7:14) "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation".

 

 

STAGE #2:  ( The 'Wrath of God' stage or phase of the great tribulation begins 1,260 days before the Second Coming of the Lord and is world-wide)

 

Revelation 13:2 & 5

"The dragon gave the beast his power , and his throne and great authority......and to exercise his authority for forty-two months (1,260 days)."

Revelation 3:10

"Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep (rapture) you from the hour of trial (1,260 days) that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who dwell on the earth."

 

The Second Coming of our Lord Jesus will end stage #2 which is the  "hour of trial" which is the 1,260 day Wrath of God great tribulation "upon the whole world".

 

Daniel 12:10

"......but those who are wise will understand."
