The Fig Tree, who is Israel, was planted in 1948. The Fig Tree put forth leaves in 1967 when it reclaimed possession of Jerusalem in a Jubilee Year. The length of a 'Biblical generation is 49 years. Add 49 years to 1967 and you come th the year 2016 which is the next sacred Jubilee Year which begins Nisan 1.

 

The Biblical generation is 49 years which is 7 X 7 = 49 years, and is the equivalent of one Sabbath of years which is one Jubilee Year cycle.
