Dear Doves,

 

Scriptures tell the Church to "watch always" for the Lord's APPEARING to rapture His Church to heaven. In comparison, very little in Scripture tell us about His Second Coming because His Bride Church will be with Him at His Second Coming. The Church will be returning to earth, with the Lord, AFTER the wedding in heaven. We need only concern ourselves with "watching" for His appearing to rapture us because AFTER THE RAPTURE our activities will ALL be determined by the Lord.

 

The Christian Church need not concern itself with the Second Coming of the Lord back to earth. On the other hand, we do need to be concerned about the appearing of the Lord to rapture His Church to heaven.

 

It is surprising how many people, who consider themselves to be Christians, are "watching" for the 'Second Coming' of the Lord.
