Revelation 3:10

"Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth."

 

Because the Church is  raptured just before "the hour of trial" begins we are kept from it. The "hour of trial" is the time of God's wrath upon the earth, and the forty-two month reign of the anti-Christ ending at the Second Coming of the Lord.

 

Revelation 13:5

"The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words abd blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months."

 

Luke 21:21-23

"Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.......For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written......There will be great tribulation in the land and wrath against this people."

 

The great tribulation begins in Israel, and ten days after it begins,  the rapture of the Church happens. Then the forty-two month long wrath of God begins in Israel and spreads to the whole world while the Church is in heaven standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb because after the rapture we are always with the Lord.

 

1 Thessalonians 4:17

"Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: AND SO SHALL WE EVER BE WITH THE LORD."

 

The rapture occurs BEFORE the time of the opening of the Seventh Seal which is the beginning of God's wrath being poured out upon the earth. The LAST EVENT BEFORE the opening of the Seventh Seal is John seeing of the great multitude in heaven before the throne  AND IN FRONT OF THE LAMB.  Because "SO SHALL WE EVER BE WITH THE LORD" AFTER the rapture, and the Lord is right there in heaven with the great multitude PROVES that the great multitude in heaven with the Lord is the raptured Church which has come out of the great tribulation.
