Hi again, Mike....I thought maybe I might be able to answer your question on the "mingling" with the "seed of men" in Daniel 2:43.  Since it's "they" shall mingle with the "seed of men," it HAS to be something other than the human race doing this.  And since they "mingle," they have to be living beings as well....that aren't human.  The "clay" is a human being.  The "iron" is something else, but alive (inanimate objects can't "mingle" themselves).

Because all these tribes ending in "ite" or "ims" (see the link below) were all races of hybrid giants, God wanted them totally wiped out.  All the way through the OT, Satan is trying to destroy the seed-line of the Messiah because of God's promise in Gen.3:15.  If Satan could have succeeded in mixing the "seed" so that there would be no pure line left, Jesus Christ could not have been born.  That's why God ordered them to be totally wiped out....even som! e of the animals were contaminated in their DNA and had to be wiped out.

I Sam. 15:3..."Now go and smite Amalek (giants), and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass."  God gave Saul an order to completely wipe out this tribe of giants....the Amalekites.

I Sam 15:9..."But Saul and the people spared Agag (giant), and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them:  but everything that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly."

Later on, because Saul disobeyed God's instructions, he was rejected by God from reigning over Israel (16:1)....but Samuel finished off Agag, at least,  in vs.15:33. 

Again, any race of men that were called by a name that ends in ...ITE or ...IMS are tribes of giants.  Anakims (sons of Anak), Zamzummins, Emims, Am! alekites (sons of Amalek), Agagites, etc. are all the giant hybrids.  If God ordered that they were to be wiped out, it was not because He was mean....He was protecting us.
