Hi Bruce....I did a heavy study tonight on what you said about 'we are all Jews now" (or something like that).  There was something inside myself that bothered me and it was like the Holy Spirit kept kicking my heart about it.  With my Finnish nature (stubborn), and my tendency to be like a Pit Bull when it comes to the truth, I stopped doing my usual study on prophetic things and went back to the basics (which is always a good thing to do if in doubt).

I opened my Bible and came to John 6:63, and I felt my "Aha!" moment on something I never really studied deeply until you said that one sentence.  I understand now.   God says..."It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:  the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."  Holy Cow!!  I understood!!  In my FLESH, I was born a Finn, but in my spirit I no longer am that in God's eyes.  I'm a diffe! rent person now...in Christ.

We are spiritually "circumcised" so that our FLESH is nothing to us any more.  In my "quickened spirit" I am a new PERSON in Jesus Christ....and He calls me now a "Jew" inside my spirit.  No, I don't link it completely, but I understand it in my heart as being part of the "spiritual Israel" who are "born again" of the spirit through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Like with physical circumcision, part of us has to get cut off so that the Spirit can work in us and through us.

Just as Ecclesiastes 3:18 says..."I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts."  And that's exactly it!  Before we are saved, we are "beasts", and that part (the flesh) has to go (circumcised).  And in that type and shadow of being "circumcised", we become an inward "Jew".

So, my dear brother, I thank you for being just who you a! re.  God used you to open up a truth I hadn't realized....and I am very grateful....
