    "Twice God made the Sun stand still and reverse its coarse.  Harold Hill wrote a book called "How to live like a King's kid" years ago and he was
the owner of 4 major companies that put the Gemini series of space capsules in orbit. He claims that his company of scientists would run the time calculations forward and backwards to be able to calculate where the moon etc. would be at any given point of time.
    They ran their time program forward thru time and then backwards a few thousand years and back to present to check to see how accurate they were.  He claims that one time they came back from the past and their calculations and were 23 hours and 20 minutes off.
    Soooo, they read in the bible where the sun stood still for "almost a day".... well, 23 hours and 20 minutes is "almost a day".... Then they ran their calculations again and they were 40 minutes off.... then they found again in the bible where the sun went backwards so many degrees on the sundial..... and according to Harold Hill it worked out to be 40 minutes...
    Now if you add 23 hours and 20 minutes to 40 minutes you end up with 24 hours.... one full day. Interesting huh?
    I don't know what it means but these scientists just found out how accurate the bible really is."

My answer:
    The Book of Jasher says the day was 36 moments [hours?].  The going down of the sun on the equinox gives you 12 hours of daylight and 24 more gives you 36 hours.          The only way this can happen is if the Earth is the center of the Universe and the Sun, Moon and Stars circle the Earth: the Earth turning completely in 23 hours 20 mins + 40 mins reversing 10 degrees.
    The stars move around the Earth ca 4 arc minutes a day and the Sun moves ca 1 arc minute a day thus the Sun's race with the Stars is slower and precesses at the Equinox.  The Equinoxes changed from Taurus back to Aries back to Aquarius over a period of 6,000 years. We are now in the Age of Aquarius 'so to speak'.  The stars drop 10 degrees over a period of 2,000 years. The Sun does not change it's latitude on the celestial equator at the summer or winter solstice.
    No movements had to stop: It was the turning of the Earth, not from west to east but from north to south back to north.  That is how the poles have reversed twice in past history recorded in the rocks of time.  It is also how God stretched out the heavens and the number of days went from 364 to 365 to 365-1/4. Enoch's calendar had only 364 days and it always started on the equinox; and he said it should always start there until the end of time but prophesied that it would be changed to a lunar calendar...and it did.
