The purpose of this study is to consider the geo-political nature of the Shi’ite Triangle and define what that is and its objectives. This notion will serve as a basis of understanding as to why now, the rich Gulf Arab States and the State of Israel are forging normalization of relations with each other. It is because of the Shi’ites. Many who study Biblical Prophecy realize just how significant this development is. It is in the prophetic backdrop of Daniel 9:27 and other passages of the Bible, both Old and New Testament that attest to a coming time of a ‘Peace and Security’ arrangement.

It is about reimagining the entire Middle East. However, at such a time, the contrary will occur as in ‘Sudden Destruction’ will come about instead. How can this be? Again, the Shi’ite Triangle. The Shi’ite Triangle consists of 3 main nations, Iran, Lebanon, and Yemen. They comprise a trifecta of radicalized versions of Islam known as Shia. The issue? They stand in direct opposition to the Arab Gulf States who are Sunni. This Issue goes far back in history since the onset of Islam came out of Arabia. It is about the contention between the succession of the Islamic Prophet Mohammed.

It is either the succession by a political/religious appointment or that of a bloodline. The Arabs chose the political/religious option while the Shi’ite faction had opted and to this Day, contend for the direct bloodline that would have gone through Ali, etc. So, what is the Shi’ite Agenda? It is 5-fold. It is to capture Mecca, destroy Israel, to then rule from Jerusalem, liberate the Palestinians and actively export their brand of Islamic Radicalism to the entire world. In their End of Days Eschatology, they are waiting for their Mahdi or the 12th Imam along with the assistance of Jesus Christ to appear.

They will return to set-up their Islamic ‘Paradise’ and rule the world by forcibly making everyone a Muslim, a Shi’ite’. The Sunni-Shi’ite contention is also divided on racial and ethnic lines. The Sunni Muslims are mostly Arab in origin aside from many more nations that have since become dominated by Islam as in Africa and Asia primarily and that are not ethnically Arab. In contrast, most Shi’ites are the Arab descendants that conquered the Persians between 633 and 651 AD or what are now the Iranians. There are also considerable pockets of Shi’ites in Iraq, and even in the eastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula facing the Persian Gulf. Nonetheless Iran is the core of the Shi’ite Triangle.

War by Proxy
The 2nd nation in the triangulation of the Shi’ite Triangle is the para-military faction of Hezbollah. This Shi’ite faction of Hezbollah is primarily situated in Lebanon. Many see this faction as a ‘proxy army’ of the Iranians as they do support the movement as they have fostered their Shi’ite Agenda. The 3rd nation making-up the Shi’ite Triangle is Yemen. Yemen’s ethnic tribe called the Houthi(s) make-up the dominant force and have aligned itself politically and religiously with Iran and the same Shi’ite Agenda. Iran has supplied weapons and ideology to attack Saudi Arabia with.

In fact, many Political Analysts would agree that Iran is in a de-facto war with Saudi Arabia. The Point? The Shi’ites of Iran, Hezbollah and Yemen are also at war with Israel. Thus, this theological hatred is common ground, that the Israelis and the Gulf Arab States now share and have joined together to deal with. So, there is now a counter triangulation of forces that has challenged and confronted the Shi’ite Agenda. This counter triangulation of forces comprises Israel, the Gulf States and the USA. But it has been Israel that has amazingly nearly single-handedly now destroyed and decapitated, literally the heads of this 3-prong Shi’ite Triangle.

So, what happened to the apparent ‘Deal of the Century’ pertaining to the Abraham Accords? It did appear to be bringing ‘Peace in the Middle East’. But then the Palestinians sabotaged it by attacking Israel on October 7, 2023. And consequently, once the war dust settles, and an Abraham Accord type of settlement is agreed upon, Christians understand that according to Bible Prophecy, it will only be a temporary Peace and Security arrangement. The pledge will be for 7 years, but in reality, it will only last 3.5 years or 1260 days.

However, the real details of the Israeli-Arab Abraham Accords are being kept ‘secret’ until after the signing of them. Why? What is the ‘secret’? This is highly suspect as most probable, the Accord will involve the eventual ‘dividing’ of the Promised Land of Israel. This is based on an interpretation of Joel 3:2. This would be the West Bank or what is the Biblical ancient heartland of Israel, Judea and Samaria. The Issue, Biblically is that this is laying of the Foundation of the ‘Covenant with the Many’. It is what YHVH sees as a ‘Deal with Death’ per Isaiah 28:18. One is convinced that the Covenant that is to be made ‘Strong’ or reimplemented will be the Mosaic Law. Thus, the Abraham Accords will lead to the Daniel 9:27 prophecy and how the Promised Land will eventually be divided.

The confusion if it is a literal division of the Promised Land is over defining the word, divide’ as divide or as Joel states a clear ‘dividing of the land’. Moreover, many also link the judgment to come by way of those that are mediating or making this ‘Covenant’ to be ‘cut’ and implemented. Biblically speaking, the key is to understand that in the Old Testament, a Covenant referred always to a ‘cutting’, a dividing line as when Jehovah had Abraham cut the animals and Jehovah walked between them as He pronounced the Covenant conditions, etc. Thus, it cannot be some mere geo-political treaty. It can accompany the theological one, but it will be secondary. Perhaps. Thus, it is about a judgment of the USA, as it is the main broker and mediator at this time. Here are some Arguments that see this Abraham Accord as not being the ‘Deal with Death’.

First, the Covenant with the Many is technically not a ‘Peace Treaty’ as the Arab Gulf States have not been at war with Israel. Second, Jared Kushner has stated that a 2-State Solution is the course but has not been nor will it be part of the Abraham Accords. This is unless it is specified as part of the ‘secret’ conditions Israel will be bound to. So, the Palestinians felt betrayed by the Gulf States as the U.S./Israeli political leaders circumvented the Palestinians, and by their own account as well.

Nonetheless, in these Last Days, it is to counterbalance the Shi’ite Triangle of Iran, Hezbollah of Lebanon, and the Houthis of Yemen. Why? This will make way for the true conditions that will usher in the Covenant with the Many after the Shi’ite Triangle has been decimated and no longer a viable threat to the region. This will allow for the reimagining of the entire Middle East. As one sees it, such Nations are backing the Palestinians and will eventually attack Israel out of spite for the Abraham Accords. (Isaiah 17, Psalm 83).

Israel will prevail, and this is when the AntiChrist will come in, to then ‘Strengthen’ the ‘Covenant’ of Moses. And if fact, the provision of Peace and Security in this reimagined Middle East will foster the need to unite the 3 Abrahamic Faiths. What better instrument than the rebuilt 3rd Temple. In fact, one is convinced it will serve to rally the New Middle East as each religion will have its House of Prayer on the Temple Mount. When will this proposed scenario occur? One is also convinced that will occur after the Rapture and when the U.S. will no longer be a mediator or force to broker with.

This is when the Biblical AntiChrist will step in to fill in the gap, gladly. Perhaps as many believe that according to 2 Thessalonians 2, the Rapture of the Church Age Believers of Jesus will have been ‘Departed’. Ultimately, the Bible states that the Dispensation of Grace will end and Jehovah will shift His prophetic attention back to Israel for a national judgment that is yet to be fully attained. In the end, it is about the Covenant that pertains to an earthly people, the Jews concerning their Promised Land, Jerusalem and the Temple Mount.

Thus, one point is to note just how close this ‘gap’ is approaching as the Shi’ite Triangle is now essentially collapsed. Israel’s victory, in turn will foment the ‘Sweetening of the Deal’. This is how some interpret the circumstance in how the AntiChrist will then only allow the Jews to erect the 3rd Temple. Thus, once this is completed and the Altar of Sacrifice is set by the hollowing of the entire Temple Mount and Nation of Israel by the Ashes of the Red Heifer, the Daily Offering will commence.

One is of the interpretation that the 1st day that the 1st Animal Sacrifice will be made is when the 2520 Day, 7-Year Tribulation Period starts. As to the Shi’ite Triangle? What is another reason why the rich Gulf Stats seek a partnership with Israel? Well, it is theological. You have the Arab Sunnis scared of their own Islamic Prophecy. There is an Islamic Prophecy in Sura 95, which states that 1 day Mecca will be destroyed along with the Kaaba. The Shi’ites of Iran believe they are those that will make this come about, as they see the Sunni Arabs being sold-out to the West and Israel.

Dealing with the Devil
And then you have the Turks with Erdogan that want to resurrect the Ottoman Empire to take over the holy sites and be the leader of Islam as it was in its former glory days. They already started with the takeover of Hagia Sophia by converting it into a Mosque. They then said that the al Aqsa Mosque was next and then eventually the Kaaba of Mecca. This is why the Gulf States that are wealthy, now seek to stem the aggression of the Shi’ite Triangle as their standard of living, wealth and power are in danger of being subverted. Those that have been to Dubai and Abu Dhabi can attest to the Wealth and the Opulence the country has.

They are into making money and being open to world trade and travel. One is even able to worship at a large Evangelical Church that is not even guarded. It is in the International City Zone. The Arabs are afraid they will lose it all if the Shi’ites take over. They will end-up like Iran, backwards, radical and a pariah of the world. So, why are many Arab Nations considering onboarding with the Abraham Accords. After Israel has nearly single handedly decapitated the leaderships of the Houthis, Hamas, Hezbollah, and now the Mullahs of Iran, the Arabs are now acknowledging and accepting that Israel is here to stay.

Also, the protracted wars with the Arabs against Israel in the past have been costly, disastrous, and humiliating. Ethnically, the Arabs are more closely related by blood to the Jews than they are to the Persian. Also, the newer generation of Arab leaders is emerging as the hard core Old Islamic Guard is now dying-off. Thus, with Israel as a counterweight to the Shi’ite Triangle, it is an Abrahamic Accord of convenience and political survival, really. As the saying goes, ‘The enemy of my enemy is my friend’.

But the ‘Elephant’ in the room is still the Palestinian issue and the Land, Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. As noted, the Biblical Abrahamic Covenant was/is about the Land Covenant, ultimately and prophetically. And the divine promise given to Abraham in Genesis 15 was reiterated through the bloodline and succession of Isaac and then Jacob, not Ishmael. It is sad that the Palestinians have been used as mere pons for over 70+ years to wage war against Israel.

They have been deliberately kept in squalor U.N. Refugee Camps so that the money keeps flowing into the bank accounts of their Palestinian leaders who live in mansions. But one’s assessment is that despite Israel having shattered the Shi’ite Triangle, it will not go away nor be defeated entirely as it will morph into what one calls the Outer-Ring of Muslim nations. These Islamic nations will come against Israel during the Tribulation Period. This War is called the Ezekiel 38 War. Why?

Foremost, it is a Spiritual War, and only 1 bloodline has the legal ‘birthright’. And that bloodline is through Isaac, not Ishmael. Nonetheless, will the Promised Land be ‘divided’ to accommodate a Palestinian State? If the Scenario plays-out as one presents though, there would be no reason to as Israel would be coming out on top. But such a future division that is to occur, happens way after the AntiChrist comes on the scene? The Bible states that the AntiChrist will come down into ‘the Beautiful Land’.

The Beautiful Land
What if it is he who then divides the Promised Land into some administrative divisions instead? He would be taking on the role of a ‘Joshua’ in how he allotted the portions to the 12 Tribes of Israel once they entered the Beautiful Land, etc. But no amount of ‘Triangulated’ Treaties with the Ishmaelites will provide lasting ‘Peace and Security’. Sadly, the Jews will make a treaty as Joshua did with the Gibeonites.

Considering Operation Epic Fury and Roaring Lion, these are amazing times and key prophetic milestones are occurring before our very eyes. But also, be cautious. Although the Prince of Persia has taken a mortal blow to its earthly representative, this Principality is to return 1 day for the Gog-Magog War. Or in other words, Iran is down but not out. Nonetheless, Israel has amazingly managed to destroy the Shi’ite Triangle: Iran-Lebanon-Yemen.

One’s point is that despite all this, present events are not the beginning of the Gog-Magog war, but it is just another war in the steps to get there. Iran and Russia’s military is exhausted if not decimated. One finds it hard to be convinced they can lead what the Gog-Magog War requires, a massive worldwide military endeavor. Also, Israel is not dwelling ‘safely and in unwalled villages’, etc. It will ultimately be the Prince of Peace, Jesus, their overlooked and despised Messiah, that will return to establish the promised Kingdom to Israel.

Until then, individuals need to make a personal ‘Deal’ away from Death but rather towards ‘Life’ that is only found in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. But this is what the days just prior to the Rapture event look like. But the whole Middle East is at war as never before in modern history that one can recall. Nearly every nation at the core of the region has been hit by Iran, 10 nations thus far, which is staggering. I am still up in the air, no pun intended, about what and where does the Psalm 83 War and the Isaiah 17 event regarding Damascus fits in or must fit in in all this Biblical Prophecy.

And then what about the Abraham Accords? There are so many unknown prophetic variables yet to be understood. It could very well be the case that due to the Rapture event, Israel will no longer have the USA as its ‘Big Brother’ muscle to flex. And it will be forced to literally make a ‘Deal with the Devil’. This timeframe is when the Psalm 83 War against Israel, the Jeremiah 49 destruction of Elam and the Isaiah 17 destruction of Damascus could occur.
