"An affirming post from another watcher"

I was very affirmed by a post on Youtube "Midnight Cry".

Here is the link to the posts' section:

I am not able to post a link to the specific post, nor am I able to copy/paste from it.   However, when you scroll down, she starts the post with the statement "The long awaited answer to my question."

She also "ends" the post with a desert picture that contains a phrase the starts with the words "Seasons where your spiritual life seems flat . . ."  It was posted early today, Saturday the 21st.

God encourages her after a season of wrestling with the thought as to why she feels so little in her day by day walk with Jesus, especially in light of how soon He is coming for us.  She knows the truth(s) God has revealed to her prior, yet so little of new revelation seemed to be taking place within her heart at this time.  Her daily interaction with God seemed flat and dry.

Her description of the dry time really resonated with me.  I could relate.  Even my interceding for other I know seems fruitless from what I can see.  I know that our intimate union with Jesus is our only Reality to live from, yet, day by day, I feel mentally retarded in keeping that before me. My lie-based, programmed thinking that I am "separate from Him as a stand-alone entity" dominates my visceral reactions/interpretations.  Often my days feel like a slog, sensing very little of His presence.  I do not have anything in my life at this season, that I can point to, to show I am "productive" in terms of any regular "ministry".

God pointed her to look at the agricultural instructions He gave Israel.  In particular, He drew her focus to what He instructed Israel to do on the 6th year of the shemitah before the Jubilee two years later, and how He would honor their trustful, obedient rest in Him by providing, in the sixth year, what would last even until the year after the Jubilee.

For what it is worth.

God bless you.
