I want to bring forward a post I did back in January that points to this upcoming Passover season, which is still very relevant for where we are at:
As of the time of my now typing this post here (on March 19th), there are a number of Jewish New Year "beginnings" this week.
Referencing the equilux experienced by folks living in Israel, March 17th started the year.
Referencing the Essene Dead Sea Scroll calendar made available by Ken Johnson, March 18th is day one of the year.
Referencing the popular Jewish calendar, the 1st day of the year is March 18/19.
Referencing the sighted new moon from Israel to start a month, the year will begin March 20/21.
What brings clarity to me as I keep all the above in front of me is that the Feast of First Fruits, which is to the follow the weekly Sabbath, is the same for any of the above, April 4/5.
If God chooses to take us home on the anniversary of when Joshua took the children of Israel into their promised land, then that 10th day of the 1st month is not clear as to when it happens. This also applies to the timing of the Passover Day itself, when God delivered the people from being under the empire's slavery system.
In considering the timing of when we might go home, I came across some interesting verses and an idea from thinking on I Corinthians chapter 1:
18For the word
of the cross is foolishness to those who [u]are perishing , but to us who [v]are being saved it is the power of God . 19For it is written : “I WILL DESTROY
THE WISDOM AND THE UNDERSTANDINGOF THE WISE , OF THOSE WHO HAVE UNDERSTANDING , I WILL CONFOUND .”
20Where is the wise person ? Where is the scribe ? Where is the debater of this age ? Has God not made foolish the wisdom of the world ? 21For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God , God [w]was pleased through the foolishness of the [x]message preached to save those who believe . 22For indeed Jews ask for [y]signs and Greeks search for wisdom ; 23but we preach [z]Christ crucified , to Jews a stumbling block , and to Gentiles foolishness , 24but to those who are the called , both Jews and Greeks , Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God . 25For the foolishness of God is wiser than mankind , and the weakness of God is stronger than mankind . 26For [aa]consider
your calling , brothers and sisters, that there were not many wise according to [ab]the flesh , not many mighty , not many noble ; 27but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise , and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong , 28and the [ac]insignificant things of the world and the despised God has chosen , the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, 29so that no [ad]human may boast before God . 30But it is [ae]due to Him that you are in Christ Jesus , who became to us wisdom from God , [af]and righteousness and sanctification , and redemption , 31so that , just as it is written : “LET THE ONE WHO BOASTS , BOAST IN THE LORD .”
I count six times that the form of the word "fool" is used in the above. Knowing our Heavenly Father like I do, it would not surprise me if He decides to take us home on April Fool's day.
For what it is worth.
God bless you.
