"Greta Van Susteren Interviewed Steve Witkoff - Real Eye-Opener!"

Hello John and Doves,

Greta Van Susteren interviewed US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff about his meetings with the Iranian Foreign Minister.  This is an inside look into the 'negotiations' - gives us a look at the Iranian side.  They will lie, deceive to get what they want.

This is on the Newsmax You Tube channel, dated March 10, 2026:

(my notes)

Steve is the Chief negotiator.  He meet with Iran before Midnight Hammer, last June, six times.  After Operation Hammer he met with them three separate times.  With Jared Kushner.  There was no palpable evidence that Iran wanted to negotiate.

Iran started one meeting with, 'they had the inalienable right to enrich'....(later President Trump responded to Steve with 'we have the inalienable right to stop you from enriching.') That's how the negotiations began.  A strange way to start the 'negotiations'.

At one point the US offered Iran 'free fuel for ten years' - enough to power the peaceful things they claimed they wanted to do.  Their response was awkward...'we don't need you to do that.'  What we offered was enriched uranium that could not be further enriched...for a nuclear weapon.  "This (offer) did not work for them for the obvious reason," said Witkoff.

Foreign Minister of Iran, Abbas Araghchi, plus his staff was there at one recent meeting. (there were other meetings with this FM last year too)  Witkoff said it didn't look like Araghchi was 'empowered' to negotiate for Iran.  Witkoff told him it looked like he wanted to communicate to the US indirectly, speaking through an interlocutor who would pass messages.  Araghchi did not have permission to talk to the US directly on the telephone - 'maybe he could text the US'.  These negotiations required round the clock talking if this was going to be settled.  The FM of Iran never left the room to 'talk to his people' during the talks...which was odd.

Greta asked Steve if the meetings were cordial with the Foreign Minister/Iran?  She said the FM has been taunting the US in tweets now about our gas prices.  Witkoff said they had a 'very aggressive confrontation with him in the last session.'  After the US presented their points to Iran, the FM started "screaming and yelling"; Steve said he was calm and asked if the US should leave...the FM settled down, and said 'no'.

In the first session that they had with Iran, Iran ''acknowledged, even boasted, that they had 460 kg of 60% enriched uranium''.  "This is roughly one week to ten days away from 90% weapons grade." This is a statistical fact."  This is about 11 bombs worth of material.  This is how that session began.  Later the FM said that concerning these negotiations 'we will not let you take diplomatically what you couldn't militarily."  He was contesting the fact we had destroyed most of Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan, "which of course we did".  Steve thinks he was referring to the fact that Iran manufacturers their own equipment which in itself is insidious and dangerous.

There was no reason to bring the 60% up to WGU unless you wanted to make a nuclear weapon.  Iran had every intention of making a nuclear weapon - this was very clear. And why would you throw out the IAEA inspectors if your intentions were peaceful?

Steve took the FM's words as a warning.  Even a small amount of 60% enriched uranium could be taken to weapons grade and so Iran would get their hands on a weapon.  He was "almost warning us that he might in fact, have a weapon."  "So when people say there was no evidence of a weapon, there actually was plenty of evidence that he was either positioning towards getting a weapon, or had a weapon already, or had a plan to get at a weapon."

Steve and Jard Kushner were looking for good faith negotiations.  At the end of the three recent sessions - they saw no good faith from Iran.  They were not ready to make a deal.

Iran refused to talk about the missiles.  And that was a 'red line' for the US.  The nuclear threat is the most existential, but the missiles are close behind. Trump said that Iran had to cut back on their offensive ballistic missiles.  A firm NO from Iran.

There were numerous indications that Iran was not going to negotiate in good faith.  At one point, Iran presented a paper with their side of the negotiations; a paper Steve was not allowed to keep...Steve and Jared read it and quickly saw it was full of ways Iran could circumvent all of the points the US presented.

Steve is returning to Israel next week.

(end notes)

Sean Hannity interviewed Steve Witkoff on his radio podcast today, March 11, and Steve covered the same basic points.

I'll add to the above interview on Newsmax, it was an interesting comment the Foreign Minister of Iran made - that they weren't going to let the US take from them in negotiations, what the US couldn't take from them militarily...to me that confirms we did not "completely and totally obliterate' Iran's key nuclear enrichment facilities...We were told that "the Iranian regime's nuclear capabilities had been obliterated"....we did not destroy Natanz, Fodor or Isfahan, imo....how could Iran be one week away from a nuke if we destroyed their nuclear sites?  (I've written several letters about Midnight Hammer.)

This is the same Foreign Minister (Abbas Araghchi) who said that Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is still alive "as far as I know".   He said two commanders died, but senior officials in the regime had survived including the head of the judiciary and the parliament speaker."  Which is the lie?

We cannot loose sight of the fact that Iranians are Muslims, specifically Shia Muslims.  They will lie and deceive to get what they want. Their religion does not support a democratic Iran, nor will it support a leader the West picks for them.  They have Imams and Mullahs and the believe of a coming Mahdi who will set up a global caliphate.  And Israel is in the way of that happening.  That's why they chant 'death to America' and 'death to Israel'...the Mahdi cannot return if Israel exists.

What percentage are fanatics about this?  Enough.  They are not Sunni Muslims, they have an apocalyptic ideology.  Iran will not move from their hate of Israel (or America) and wanting to destroy her.

The prophecies are set.  God's Word will be fulfilled.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Maranatha!
