"A Word Study of the Hebrew Verb “to confirm” or “gabar”: Daniel 9:27"

A Word Study of the Hebrew Verb “to confirm” or “gabar”:

Daniel 9:27

Daniel 9:27(a) states:

“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:”

The majority of bible commentators unanimously agree that this verb, as used in the King James Bible represents the future actions of the Antichrist.

The Hebrew verb “gabar” is spelled Gimmel-Bet-Resh.  Hebrew letters have separate meanings.  They tell the story of the word.  This originates from the ancient pictograph Hebrew text.  Just as God’s name Yaweh, spelled Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey meaning “behold the hand, behold the nail”, so too does the verb describe the Son of God, the kinsman Redeemer.

Gimmel is a picture of Yeshua as our Redeemer.  Bet is the first letter of revelation from the Lord.  The Hebrew bible is called Bereshit or “in the beginning”.

Bet is a picture of Yeshua as the master of the house.  Yeshua tabernacled with us (John 1:14) whose body was Bet-El, the habitation of God Almighty.

Bet is most often used with the Son of God ben Elohim.  If we combine the name for father (av) with the word for son (ben) we have the word meaning stone as in the “rejected stone”.

Bet is a picture of the Son of God.  The word for create is bara.  If we separate the word for bara, (bar a) we have bar Aleph which points to the Son of the Father, so in Gen 1:1 we may state “In the beginning was the Son of Aleph”.

Resh is the symbol for the Head or Prince

CONCLUSION:

The word “gabar’s” meaning from the pictograph Hebrew is:

The Kinsman Redeemer, Yeshua the Son of God and Creator of heaven and earth, is the Prince or Head.  God’s word will prevail.

So, would the LORD use a verb which appears ONCE in the Old Testament next to the verb “confirm” to describe the Antichrist?    Never!

God in Christ confirms His promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob following the Resurrection/Rapture event of Spring 2023.
