(David was conscious that he would glorify the LORD, even before the invisible celestial creatures:)
Psalms 138:1 I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
(I should have thought about that, and even remembered:)
Hebrews 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
(Instead, sadly, how often have the angels witnessed me being shameful in what I did, said, or looked upon, in secret, when I thought that no one else was there?)
(Did those ancients in Israel have any idea that Ezekiel had been brought in by vision, to see and hear what they were doing?)
Ezekiel 8:3b and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem,
9 And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.
10 So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.
11 And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.
12 Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.
