Chance - Excellent post. Linked below for those who missed it. The 8 minute clip by Amir Tsarfati is also important. One of the main reasons the Saudi's are (reluctantly) climbing into bed with Iran is the attacks from Yemen. Iran has agreed to halt shipments of weapons to the Houthis - a major thorn in Saudi Arabia's side. This is all about self-preservation now. Nobody - in their right mind - trusts the USA administration anymore. The disgusting debacle of the Afghanistan withdrawal cemented that. The USA cannot be trusted. Therefore - the entire Middle East is scrabbling around for new alliances. Netanyahu is currently on a frantic PR blitz in Europe..... virtually begging anyone to stand against Iran. Note how Bibi is not doing the normal Israeli grovel to the USA. NOBODY trusts the USA administration anymore. Their best bet is to cobble agreements between each other. As fragile as those 'agreements' may be.
