It makes sense for rapture to occur in summer. From Isaiah 16:8-9 and Jeremiah 48:32, Moab which is Jordan shall be destroyed in summer. Since Moab is one of the three shepherds, it places three shepherds war and their destruction in summer. Immediately after God cuts off the three shepherds, God calls the church home (Zechariah 11:10-11). Rapture in summer is perfect in God's time table of future events.
