You made a great point!

I don't know why some people insist that the Church goes through the Great Tribulation since born again Christians will be gathered together, raptured & taken to heaven between the falling away & the Abomination of Desolation (image of the Beast) being set up on the Temple Mount for worldwide worship of him at which time the Antichrist has power over the people on Earth for 1,260 days or 42 months.

Whether it is realized or not, when we Christians insist on the church going through the tribulation, we are kind of guilty of replacement theology.

The old testament and the thousand year kingdom, is not about the church, but it is Israel the LORD then primarily uses here on the earth.

Even the parts where Israel was visited for their sins, they are still used to reveal the holy, and then later, the merciful attributes of the LORD.

Were not also the four gospels primarily related to Israel?

So is the tribulation, it is primarily related to Israel.

We have no business taking things that apply to Israel, and then applying them to us.
