(fivedoves.com)  My opinion is that the god of forces in Daniel 11:36-39 is Satan, who is behind every false religion and every false god including Allah, the god of the Muslims, and that the willful king, the Antichrist, honors Satan and not God, the father of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob who is the God of gods.  

An Hebrew interlinear Bible calls the strange god of fortresses in Daniel 11:39 a foreign god of fortresses with the words "of fortresses" called "mauzzim."  Daniel 11:39 Interlinear: And he hath dealt in the fortresses of the strongholds with a strange god whom he hath acknowledged; he multiplieth honour, and hath caused them to rule over many, and the ground he apportioneth at a price.
