As you probably have heard, southwestern Iceland has experienced over 20,000 earthquakes in a matter of days. Experts are predicting that this is likely the beginning 
of a period of 100 to 200 years of extreme volcanic activity in that area, which happens to be near the capital. If multiple volcanoes erupt, the atmosphere all around the world could be come filled by volcanic  ash, making the sun look like it is obscured by sackcloth. And other volcanoes are also erupting in record numbers, sometimes accompanied by earthquakes. The  moon would look blood red when viewed through the atmosphere due to the deflection of blue light, thus leaving a red appearance. The scriptures refer to volcanic lava as melting wax flowing down a mountain. 
    The  increase in large fireballs that create air blasts have increased dramatically every year for the last decade, the most recent behind over London. points to The shaking of the heavens referred to in Haggai 2: 6-7: 

      “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come... ‘ Haggai 2:6-7

The mountains melt beneath him and the valleys split apart, like wax before the fire, like water rushing down a slope.Micah 1:4 

The earth is broken up, the earth is split asunder, the earth is violently shaken. 
Isaiah 24:19

Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.
Matthew 24:7-8 

I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke.The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.

The mountains quake before him and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence, the world and all who live in it.
Nahum 1:5 

We are surely seeing the pre-tribulation birth pangs. Time to look up!
