You are carrying an awful burden trying to be worthy...you will be the one complaining how much work you've done since agreeing to a wage only to find those who just got hired receive the exact same thing by GRACE. So many people just can't help but want to take pride in self. Good luck

Heaven is guaranteed by grace to all who accept Jesus Christ in faith as their Savior.  But, God expects all who become His children to begin taking in the solid food of His word. We are to grow up and mature into Christ Jesus. We are repeatedly warned throughout the whole Bible regarding our responsibilities as God's people for which there are both rewards and punishments. To fear and serve the Lord according to His direction is not a burden - His yoke is easy (when we stay connected to Him) and the Lord's burden is light (when we do His work).  We serve God out of love and we fear and obey Him because.. He is God and it is - wise to do so.  As for who is worthy to receive honor and riches and glory - only Him.  And only He decides what we receive  - each according to our deeds while here on earth. Some deeds are worthy of reward and some receive not His approval and are counted as loss.
 
God - Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life: But to them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man that does evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honor, and peace, to every man that works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God.  (Romans 2:6-11)
