This would represent the very early fulfillment of Daniel 12:4, that at "the time of the end" man's technical knowledge would increase. After nearly 6000 years of human history, the 1770's were not far from 1948, the year Israel became a state and we entered the "End Times". In recent decades man's technical knowledge has been exploding, going straight up the "Y axis" on the "exponential curve". Jesus (Israel's Messiah) used the term "birth pangs", which is the same as the "exponential curve"---------see Matt. 24:8 in the New American Standard version of the New Testament.Neil
